4L60-E Tailhousing Modified for Relocated Reluctor Ring

4L60-E Tailhousing Modifications

In the photograph above, a Camaro 4L60-E Tailhousing (Stealth Conversions Part #4L60-014) has been modified to accept a relocated reluctor ring and a GM vehicle speed sensor to allow driving a speedometer cable. It must be used with Reluctor Ring Sleeve Assembly Part #4L60-005 (Stealth Conversions).

The picture below shows the inside of the modified 4L60 Tailhousing. The tailhousing is sealed on the inside with epoxy. This is necessary to prevent leaks that could be caused by porosity on the welded casting.
